The National Gardening Association is pleased to announce publication of the 2004 Environmental Lawn & Garden Survey, a consumer research report that looks at how environmentally responsible consumers are in caring for their lawns and gardens. This groundbreaking research takes an in-depth look at all of the most important factors relating to the lawn and garden practices consumers currently use and their interest in and demand for all-natural, organic lawn and garden products in the future. This research was conducted in July 2004 by the National Gardening Association with exclusive sponsorship provided by Organic Gardening magazine.

A representative sample of more than 2,000 households were surveyed by Harris Interactive to obtain the data included in this unique report. All of the facts and figures have been compiled, cross-tabulated, analyzed, and presented in this factual, in-depth report. The report includes complete tables for each survey question, broken down by region of the country, gender, age, marital status, education, household size, presence of children in the household, employment status of all respondents, and type of gardener. The report is published electronically as an Acrobat pdf on compact disc.
